Every year the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions hosts and auction to raise funds for various charities around the Puget Sound. This year, taking place in October, the funds will go to the Thurston County food bank.

According to the Combine Fund Drive website, "For 24 years, Washington State has proven to be one of the most giving states in the nation. Each year, over 17,000 active and retired public employees pledge more than $5 million to over 3,800 different local, national and global charities."

Each year the Wine Rack Store chooses a popular wine rack style from their inventory for donation, this year on the auction block will be the 40 bottle metal wine rack.
