Florida (PRWEB) September 13, 2012
Florida criminal defense attorney AnneMarie Rizzo recently represented a client with an imminent arrest for domestic violence. Criminal Lawyer Rizzo was able to convince the State not to move forward with charges and the client was not arrested.
According to documents from the State Attorney’s office, the client’s former girlfriend filed a domestic battery complaint with police, who visited the client at his home during their investigation and advised him that a warrant would soon be issued for his arrest.
The client contacted criminal defense lawyer AnneMarie Rizzo, who conducted her own investigation, contacting the alleged victim and speaking with the State Attorney’s office. Working quickly, she was able to convince the State not to go forward with the charges of domestic battery. Charges were not filed, the client was spared a formal arrest and the allegations of domestic violence were never made public.
