The guarantee covers all "buy" recommendations on its site, over 200,000 products each day across over 75 categories in electronics, appliances, sports & outdoors, tools, and lawn and garden. If the price drops lower than what the consumer paid within two weeks after making the purchase, Decide pays the difference.

How Decide's Guarantee works:
- Customer buys any item Decide.com predicts is a "good time to buy," from the retailer with the lowest price. Then forwards the email receipt confirmation to guarantee(at)decide(dot)com before midnight PST the same day.
- Decide automatically tracks the price of the item across thousands of retailers-- including Amazon.com®, Best Buy® and Walmart®-- for 14 days.
- If the price drops, Decide will notify the customer and pay the difference, up to $200 per product.
The guarantee is free of charge to Decide users. In the future, the guarantee will be offered as part of a Decide paid membership.
