Atop of Main Street in Historic Ellicott City sits Howard County's latest hot restaurant. Opening late last month at a grand opening ceremony hosted by the county's own Edward Norton, The Burger Spot has seen waits of an hour plus nearly every night since opening. To keep this incredible momentum going, the restaurant just announced their new menu of specialty burgers, which are some of the most innovative dishes in the burger market today.
Owner and Executive Chef Tyler Green describes his inspiration for the burgers as coming to him when he let his imagination run free.
"As I sat down one day after a massively successful dinner rush that we are finally getting used to handling, I got this amazing idea for the perfect burger," said Green. "With a variety of unfamiliar toppings, and different ways of preparing and serving the burgers, I could pull in a whole new audience, while keeping my regulars happy at the same time. I immediately went to work, and began to design them."
The burgers, which kick off this week with the Maryland inspired Chesapeake Burger, will each key in on a particular city that the burger will pay tribute to. Upcoming burgers include ones themed to the cities of Pittsburgh, Memphis, Atlanta, and San Francisco.
The burgers start at $12.95 for a 1/4 patty and are served with a side of both fries and the beverage of your choice.
