QMetry Announces Version 5.3 of its Award-Winning Test Management Platform

Release focuses on better integration with ALM tools and providing enhanced capabilities with Continuous Integration processes.

QMetry, a premier provider of Total Test Management solutions today announced the latest release of its award-winning Test Management Platform. QMetry 5.3 focuses on better integration with ALM tools and also includes numerous enhancements designed to help QA teams weave Test Management into their Continuous Integration processes.

On the ALM side, QMetry 5.3 includes complete support for JIRA 5.0 and improved REST-based Web Service API’s to support the Remote Linking and Activity Streams features in JIRA. It also includes support for the Rally Enterprise Edition and improved integration with another popular defect tracking platform, FogBugZ.

The product release also includes features and enhancements designed to help QA teams that work within teams that use Continuous Integration (CI) as part of their development methodology. Through a feature called Drop (similar to a Build or Iteration), QMetry offers testing teams the flexibility to track test cases at the desired level of granularity. The Drop capability and its associated APIs have been significantly enhanced in 5.3 to enable better alignment with CI and associated development methodologies like Agile.
