MIAMI – (September 12, 2012) – Chassidic philosophy and teachings take a different color in the pages of this compelling and profound book of poetry and paintings by author Dr. Harry Hamburger and artist Shoshannah Brombacher, Ph.D. In this anthology, I See Only Light, readers get an interesting yet deep look at the Chassidic way of life with the strokes of art and words thoughtfully blended in these pieces of literary and visual art.

Reading the poems and studying the paintings allow the person to gain greater spiritual understanding, inspiration, and healing. These 60 poems and 60 paintings guide and help readers to look within and see only light. These poems are very “deep” and must be studied to discover hidden meanings and knowledge. “We all hear something different on different levels, but the main thing is that we get the message and that we live up to this message,” comments the artist, Shoshannah Brombacher, on how the poems affected her.

The paintings are a gift of beauty and holiness that everyone will truly appreciate them. And the appendix at the end of the book offers brief, partial explanations of each poem to get the readers started in understanding the deeper, holy meaning of the poems because every word and letter used in these poetic pieces are written for a reason.

About the Author
Dr. Harry Hamburger is a physician, who writes Chassidic poetry. He writes to inspire others to think about why they were born and the purpose of their lives. Darkness cannot exist in the presence of light, and each individual can become a candle, to make the world a place where the spirit of G-d may dwell.
