With the upcoming presidential election, author Diane S. Vann writes her new book, “How the Communist Manifesto of 1848 Blueprints the Actions of the Democratic Party and President Obama Today” (published by AuthorHouse) as an aid for fulfilling an objective.

In a January 2010 newspaper advertisement in which Vann, a Vietnam-era veteran who was exposed to communism when stationed in Germany in 1975-77, announced her candidacy for the U.S. Congress, House of Representatives, she wrote:

President Obama is a run-of-the mill communist who has cloaked himself in a "second Messiah" kind of mystique. She recommends that Americans read for themselves the "Communist Manifesto" or "Manifesto of the Communist Party" written by Karl Marx in 1848 and contrast it to our "Declaration of Independence," the "Constitution of the United States of America" and the "Gettysburg Address."

Vann contrasts the Communist Manifesto's inception to that of the Constitution's. She then highlights important parts of the manifesto for her fellow non-communists, and aligns President Obama's policies and actions with the manifesto's agenda for bringing down advanced modern countries, making the point that:

“Yes Folks, we have a Communist in the White House,” Vann states. “If not, why are he, his community of czars, and the other Democratic Party leaders including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi demonstrably following the Communist Manifesto?”

About the Author
Diane S. Vann enlisted in the United States Army Student Nurse Program while a student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., in 1972. After she graduated in 1974 and completed a tour in California, she was posted as a Reserve Army Nurse Corps officer on active duty to West Germany. Before leaving Germany in 1977, she visited West and East Berlin and was exposed to communism. This exposure made her recognize the communist threat being posed to the United States by President Obama. In the same spirit that she was willing to but did not have to serve her country as a nurse in Vietnam, she was willing to leave her job in nursing education and run for the United States House of Representatives in 2010. Although she was unsuccessful in the Republican primary, the blue dog Democrat she opposed in her Georgia congressional district was ultimately successfully defeated. Now with a firm belief in the power of education, her goal is to break through the normalcy bias of her fellow Americans to inform them of the underlying reasons the Democratic Party is taking the country down a self-destructive path. Her prayer is that the United States will leave that path with the elections of November 2012 and never go back.
