Warble Entertainment Agency, Cheshire, September 2012 – Having established themselves as one of the UK’s foremost booking agencies for weddings and corporate events, Warble were looking to begin supporting local charities and develop strong links within the community. The beneficiary on this occasion is St. Luke’s Hospice, which is a Cheshire based charity that requires £6500 per day to remain operational.

“We have wanted to run an event with a charity element for quite some time now,” Tracey Bullock, the senior director of Warble said. “We obviously have many contacts in the industry and wanted to put on a night of entertainment that would not only showcase the great talent available via our company, but also help an extremely worthwhile cause, in this case St. Luke’s Hospice.”

The night itself is taking place at the Civic Hall in Nantwich, Cheshire and will begin at 7.30pm until late. On arrival guests will be greeted by spookily dressed entertainers and be taken to their table where the frivolities will begin.

The evening promises entertainment from scary jugglers, stilt walkers, caricaturists, magicians and additional ‘surprise’ mix and mingle entertainment acts. There will also be 2 sets of live music provided by massively popular party band The Indie Killers (http://www.warble-entertainment.com/hire/the-indie-killers/607/) who have performed throughout the UK at hundreds of venues and stadiums, and, the band even played at The Killers album launch party.

In between the live band sets, a charity auction will take place where partygoers will be invited to bid on some fantastic lots. Proceeds from the auction will go directly to St. Luke’s Hospice.

Perhaps one of the most surprising elements of the evening promises to be the Zombie Thriller Dance Off. “We needed to do something slightly different to get the guests interacting and enjoying themselves to the maximum,” said Tracey. “Basically, the dance off will be a routine set to the classic Thriller track by Michael Jackson that will be performed by 6 professional dancers in full zombie garb. The dancers will then invite the audience onto the dance floor for an impromptu dance lesson before the guests themselves recreate the classic routine. The professional dancers will then pick a winner from the crowd and they will be awarded a prize.”

The evening will eventually wind down at 2am after popular DJ Ollie Birch-Hampson rocks the dance floor full with a great selection of contemporary and classic tunes.

“We are hoping that the event will be a big success and we can use it as a building block to further support local charities. We’re also interested in hearing from members of the public with regards theme nights they would like us to run for these charity balls. So far, we have had a James Bond suggestion, a retro 60s or 70s disco night and even a Fire and Ice theme. If anybody has any ideas please feel free to contact us via the Warble website - http://www.warble-entertainment.com "

Tickets for the evening are priced at £20 per person and may be bought in advance from the Warble Entertainment Agency offices in Crewe. They are also available by calling 01270 506 686 or 0845 643 9384.
