There is a lot of misunderstanding and apprehension when it comes to choosing a long-term care plan, and we are trying to alleviate that by providing our community members with much needed information
ORANGE COUNTY, CA (PRWEB) September 17, 2012
At least 800,000 people in the U.S with Alzheimer’s disease live alone and are at greater risk for inadequate self-care and social isolation, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. As a subsidiary of American Veterans Aid(AVA), National Guardian Network (NGN), a financial services company specializing in long-term care planning and estate planning, will participate in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” on September 22, 2012, 7:30 a.m. at Angel Stadium. NGN is supporting this event to help raise awareness of the life-altering disease and inform their community about the benefits of proper long-term care, so that no one with this disease goes through it alone.
NGN is dedicated to providing their community, and California, with the most beneficial long-term care services, and to bring awareness of long-term care issues, problems, solutions, options available. Because Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S and California, NGN feels it is important to inform people and families of their options should someone they love be afflicted with Alzheimer’s.
NGN has proprietary products that can prevent people from going broke with their health care expenses, such as those with Alzheimer’s, and will be available to provide that information to other participants at the walk.
Some of the services NGN provides include:
•Long-term care crisis management,
•Asset Protection Planning
•Helping determine tax-efficient ways to pay for long-term care
“We want to let our community know that long-term care planning is for people both in crisis and those who want to plan ahead,” commented Glenn Pool, President of NGN. “There is a lot of misunderstanding and apprehension when it comes to choosing a long-term care plan, and we are trying to alleviate that by providing our community members with much needed information.”
The Alzheimer’s walk will unite the community to raise awareness, support research and to fight against this disease. For more information, or to register for the walk, visit: http://www.alz.org.
NGN plans on being an active part of the community, and strive to provide solutions for families that need long-term care in the future as well as crisis planning on an immediate need.
