With fears that social networking will only lead to driver distraction, it may seem a shock that only 19% of those surveyed believe that social media should not be available whilst driving.
Zach Brand, Senior Product Manager from NPR agreed with majority. He added “you have to approach each digital platform on its own terms and the car is not an iPad or a computer. It will call for its own experiences and social media will have its own definition of what works in the car and what doesn’t”.
