At 47 years old, Corey Lewis is in the best shape of his life and in his new book “Sergeant Slim, Weapons of Mass Reduction” Lewis shows how to create life-long healthy eating and exercise habits that will make it possible to maintain a healthy weight regardless of age.

The programs are designed to take the reader through different levels of workout intensity. As the body changes and becomes fitter, the program changes to become more intense and varied to keep the body challenged. The workouts are also designed to be more effective in a shorter period of time, making it easier to fit a workout into busy schedules.

Lewis, a fat loss coach and personal trainer, also shares his own weight loss and fitness journey. In 1999, Lewis weighed 280 pounds and was a “physical wreck.”

“I was so fat that I had to maneuver myself in a contorted position to even tie my shoes,” said Lewis. “The doctor told me that I was on my way to a heart attack. My blood sugar was close to being a Type 2 diabetic.”

The attacks on 9/11 motivated Lewis to lose weight in order to join the military and since that time he has kept the weight off.

“I have experience in being overweight and my weight loss plan is designed to not be a diet, but a lifestyle change so that weight loss is permanent and sustainable over the long run” said Lewis. “I’ve kept (my) weight off for almost 10 years and I train people every day and have seen their results, so I know that it works.”
