NTCA is a nonprofit association representing small and rural telephone cooperatives and commercial companies.
NewCore Wireless’ Albert Kangas will participate in a panel titled “Wi-Fi Offload Trends and Strategies”. The panel will discuss how offload strategies are gaining momentum with large mobile carriers. It will look at the possibility of large mobile operators using landline networks for mobile traffic offloading via Wi-Fi networks, what major carriers are doing regarding Wi-Fi offloading and possible strategies to address the bottlenecks created by the growth in mobile devices.
Kangas is a 23-year veteran in the telecommunications industry and is considered one of the leading experts in rural wireless communications. As General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of NewCore Wireless, Albert is responsible for overseeing the business, technical and day-to-day operations of the company.
