Aaxeon Technologies is pleased to announce the release of their newest 8-port unmanaged switch models. The LNX-800-M12 offers 8 10/100TX ports and the LNP-800-M12 model provides 8 10/100TX ports with 4 IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) ports.

The switches come with M12 screw-in type connectors instead of the traditional RJ45 connectors commonly seen on most switches. This design is perfect for applications such as railway, heavy industries, or other mobile applications that require tight and secure connections in order to overcome high vibration and shock all while sustaining reliable network service.

The switches are compliant with EN50155/50121-3-2/50121-4 (railway applications), can be offered as wide temperature models (-40° C to 70° C) and are enclosed in a rugged IP30 aluminum case for harsher environments, making them suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
