Whether it’s through a blood drive or encouraging environmental stewardship or helping people save money on their electric bills, we are here to help.

The chance to save a life and spread awareness about living an eco-friendly lifestyle will be available to all at the Recycle Yourself, Recycle the Sun Blood Drive hosted by Real Goods Solar and the Central California Blood Center from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21st at the Real Goods Solar location at Sierra Vista Mall.

By giving red and saving a life, donors at the Recycle Yourself, Recycle the Sun Blood Drive will also go green. All donors at the blood drive will receive a reusable aluminum water bottle and tote bag, both of which encourage eco-friendly living. Better yet, the gift of a pint of blood can literally save up to three lives.

In true sun-recycling form, Real Goods Solar also is giving away a solar-powered cell phone charger, “The Bolt”, through a random drawing of people who “like” the Real Goods Solar Facebook page by the close of the Recycle Yourself, Recycle the Sun Blood Drive.
