"62 new homes will provide high-quality affordable housing to adults 55 and older."
(PRWEB) September 13, 2012
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on-site at 1601 Villa Medici Pass, Lexington, KY 40509. Located a little east of downtown Lexington, Hamburg Senior Residence sits on Old Rosebud Road, halfway between Man O’ War Boulevard and Winchester Road on Sir Barton Way.
For the development and completion of Hamburg Senior Residence, Miller-Valentine Group partnered with St. Mary Development Corporation and financial partners; RBC Capital Markets, Bank of America, and Kentucky Housing Corporation.
With the look and feel of a premium rental community, these 62 new homes will provide high-quality affordable housing to adults 55 and older. The great local support isn’t surprising given that Hamburg Senior Residence has generated over $5.4 million for the local economy (wages for local workers and profits for proprietors, small businesses, and corporations), and created 72 new jobs (36 in the construction sector). Development, construction, and property management are also resulting in over $2 million in tax revenue for federal, state, and city governments.
Dave Liette, President of Miller-Valentine Residential Development said that the company is very excited to have the opportunity to invest in the area. Liette explained, “Miller-Valentine Group has built a reputation of providing high-quality housing for seniors. Residents will have peace of mind, amenities tailored to their wants and needs, and a dedicated staff at Hamburg Senior Residence. We are excited and honored to touch the lives of active adults in the Lexington area.”
