The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced that Michael J. Loesberg has joined the firm as of counsel in the Financial Institutions Practice. He will spend time in both the firm’s New Jersey and New York offices.
“Michael is well-known to us and our clients,” said Philip R. Sellinger, managing shareholder of the firm’s New Jersey office. “We’re thrilled to bring an attorney that will complement our existing strengths to even better serve our clients.”
Loesberg represents various banks and other financial institutions in syndicated and single-lender asset-based lending transactions, and acts as foreign counsel in connection with multi-national credit facilities. He also manages complex corporate structuring transactions for a wide range of businesses, including the manufacturing, financial institutions, retail and wholesale industries.
“Michael’s experience representing financial institutions coupled with his long-standing familiarity with many of the firm’s clients makes him an immediate asset to our office,” said Jeffrey Rosenthal, a New Jersey-based shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Financial Institutions Practice. “We are excited to add him to our team.”
Loesberg received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Colgate University. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, he was of counsel with Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen, P.C. in New York City.
