New York, New York (PRWEB) September 15, 2012

Proud To Be Latina is gearing up for its Second Annual Latina Empowerment Conference on Monday, November 5, 2012 in New York City.

With an expected attendance of 125, industry leaders and inspiring women will come together for an event dedicated to helping Latinas achieve their personal and professional aspirations.

Best Selling Author, Gina Rudan (Practical Genius) will join motivational speaker Ivette Mayo (Yo Soy Expressions), and Rossana Rosado (Publisher and CEO, El Diario) for the purpose of encouraging Latinas to be progressive, confident and game changing leaders who make an impact on society, while paving the way for future generations.

This year’s theme, Embracing Your Power, signifies Latinas’ need to recognize their strengths and robust leadership skills, and use both to move forward in their careers, businesses and personal lives.

Major sponsors of the conference include Macy’s, Marsh Inc., JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Colgate-Palmolive. The conference is supported by Latina Mom Bloggers and the Center for Hispanic Leadership.

Being held at New York City’s most unique venue, The Helen Mills Event Space and Theater, the conference will attract women from various industries across New York City. The cost of the full day conference is $125 and includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, a swag bag, gifts, signed copies of “Practical Genius” by Gina Rudan and an opportunity to engage with other Latina leaders.
