Ascertia today announced the release of a brand new app for viewing and e-signing documents on an Apple iPad using strong PKI credentials.

The free “SigningHub app” is part of the Ascertia’s effort to make it easy to e-sign any type of document from any location.

The app is integrated with Ascertia’s cloud-based SigningHub service. Together it is an ideal solution for e-signing sales agreements, legal contracts, insurance forms, internal admin and HR documents; in fact anything which previously required an ink signature can now use SigningHub electronic signatures, thereby cutting expensive printing, delivery and scanning costs.

Users draw their biometric hand signature using their finger or stylus. Unlike other solutions however SigningHub then goes a step further by securing the biometric signatures with an advanced PKI-based digital signatures that are essential for financial and legal documents. Each user has a unique PKI certificate for individual level authentication.
