The authors of a recent United States Geological Survey (USGS) report recently recognized Engineering Performance Solutions, LLC (EPS) for their analytical services. The report characterizes the fate and transport of cyanobacteria and associated toxins and taste-and-odor compounds in the Kansas River following the upstream reservoir releases.

EPS provided USGS analysis of the taste and odor compounds MIB and geosmin with an emphasis on a quick turnaround time. The USGS report specifically thanks EPS for “the frequent and rapid return of analytical results,” highlighting the superior customer service that can be expected with all projects. Rick Loftis, President and CEO of EPS, stated, “it was a pleasure working with everyone at USGS- their hard work and dedication in putting together this report will be a great asset to the water industry”. EPS is a performance-based laboratory/consultant that offers a full selection of professional water testing solutions and activated carbon performance-based testing. The team is comprised of engineers, Ph.D.s, laboratory technicians and consultants. Each project is custom-designed to fit the needs of any business or organization and is continually monitored by several members of the qualified staff.
