During its annual Leaders Meeting in Scottsdale, AZ, USHA executives and sales leaders teamed up to donate more than $15,000 in cash and supplies to the Crisis Nursery, a non-profit, Phoenix-based children's shelter. Company executives and sales leaders toured the shelter which has served over 17,000 children and families for the past 35 years.
"Whenever we gather for our annual Leaders Meeting, we also like to find an appropriate way to say thank you to our host city", said USHA President and CEO, Troy McQuagge. "After learning of the Crisis Nursery and its mission to help and serve the children of the Phoenix-Scottsdale area, we knew we wanted to help. I believe the mission of the Crisis Nursery certainly aligns with our own mission of HOPE; Helping Other People Everyday."

"The Crisis Nursery serves these children by providing a safe and nurturing environment, new clothes, specialized medical attention, education and developmental services. We are honored to play a part in helping the Crisis Nursery continue its important work on behalf of families in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area."
"We tried to focus on the things needed most by the Crisis Nursery" said USHA's Chief Marketing Officer Brian Clark. "Together with our sales leaders, we were able to donate diapers, wipes and shoes; which the Nursery tells us are among their most critical needs. Beyond that, we were able to help with cash donations to help ensure the nutritional and other needs of the children can also be met."
