The Lord is truly my faithful friend and sticks by me just as a brother would. When He brought me back from the brink of death I realized that He was calling me to tell my story in order to inspire others.

The Lord found Beverley Lower Estes as a lonely five-year-old girl who felt she didn’t belong anywhere. He took her in, and over half a century later, she’s revealing her personal walk with God. She reflects on this relationship in her new book, “Living Life with LIFE.”
The book, Estes says, is her way of honoring the God that brought her through even the direst of circumstances, such as healing her from malaria.
“The Lord is truly my faithful friend and sticks by me just as a brother would,” Estes says. “When He brought me back from the brink of death I realized that He was calling me to tell my story in order to inspire others.”
The book follows Estes’ life from when she first saw the Lord at age five. She walks readers through her adolescent and adult experiences with religion and faith. She also recounts vivid dreams and situations when God spoke to her directly.
Above all else, Estes says that her main goal is to let others know that a firm relationship with God isn’t about being perfect all the time.
“This book is about how God taught me and took me through my mistakes,” Estes says. “Through my mistakes and sins, we worked out the tree of good and evil that’s within me.
“I hope people understand that the Lord wants this same forgiving relationship with them.”
