Pingar, a leading provider of unstructured data management solutions, today announced the appointments two industry veterans to continue and extend an accelerated North American growth strategy; Chris Riley and Curtis Gion. Pingar’s North American expansion precedes the launching of a number of innovative metadata and taxonomy products to help solve enterprise challenges related to unstructured and semi-structured data.
Peter Wren-Hilton, CEO of Pingar, says that the appointments of Mr. Riley and Mr. Gion will empower Pingar to meet increasing customer demand in the content management and document management markets.

Chris Riley (@hoardinginfo) has been appointed to the new role of vice president product marketing. Riley joins Pingar from Cloudshare Inc where he held the position of senior product manager & evangelist. Mr. Riley serves as a board member of AIIM, the global community of information professionals, and is widely recognized as being a leading expert in business intelligence, knowledge management, SharePoint and cloud technologies.
Curtis Gion (@curtisgion) has been appointed to the new role of vice president business solutions. Mr. Gion joins Pingar having spent the last four years as founding director of worldwide sales and vice president sales Americas at Metalogix Software. Under Mr. Gion’s leadership his former employer was just named to Inc. 500’s fastest growing companies, growing over 800 percent during his tenure. Mr. Gion has been a featured speaker at NetApp, EMC, StorageTek and IBM events across North America including the Ohio State Homeland Security conference, the Compliance Seminar at Toronto Board of Trade and SharePoint & Network World regional meetings.
Pingar is the only Microsoft partner to have applications listed on both Office 2013 and SharePoint 2013 beta stores when released in July. The company will be demonstrating new technology at the 2012 Microsoft SharePoint Conference to be held in Las Vegas from November 12 - 15.
