The award is designed to recognize the leading partner among over 1000 vendors who support Liberty Global in their strategic and operational initiatives. Empathy Lab won in the category of Innovation and Breakthrough as a direct result on their work for Horizon TV Online which launched earlier this week. Empathy Lab envisioned, designed and developed the browser and iOS application products as part of the cross-platform digital entertainment experience. Pushing the boundaries of both the user interface design and the supporting technology, the solution provides Liberty Global customers with more than 75 streaming channels and intuitive, personalized recommendations for shows and movies based upon their viewing patterns and preferences.
The award was presented to Empathy Lab CEO, Kevin Labick, by LGI’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Balan Nair.
