Miller’s appointment coincides with rising worldwide demand for gen-E’s Resolve™ Social ITPA™ platform and continued global expansion, prompting a nearly 150 percent increase in staff and a doubling of office space at the company's headquarters.
San Clemente, Calif. (PRWEB) September 17, 2012
gen-E, a global IT process automation (ITPA) software company, today announced the addition of Laurie Miller to its top leadership team as the organization’s vice president of human resources (HR). Miller’s appointment coincides with rising worldwide demand for gen-E’s Resolve™ Social ITPA™ platform and continued global expansion, prompting a nearly 150 percent increase in staff and a doubling of office space in the past year at the company’s San Clemente, Calif. headquarters.
“At gen-E, our focus on empowering human ingenuity extends well beyond our products and begins with the people within our organization,” said Casey Kindiger, CEO of gen-E. “We are thrilled to have an HR executive with Laurie’s credentials on board to help grow our team and nurture new opportunities by aligning internal initiatives and talent management to achieve our business goals.”
Miller brings more than 20 years of business leadership expertise in high-tech industry to gen-E. In 1998, she joined Ingram Micro, the Fortune 100 technology distributor, where she managed various marketing organizations before moving in 2004 to the company’s human resources department. From 2008 to 2010, Miller led Ingram Micro’s North American team of 60 associates running HR operations for the U.S., Canada and the Philippines, supporting over 5,000 employees.
“People are the most important element of any organization. The better you hire, train, develop, equip, manage and treat your employees, the stronger your company will be, and the greater success you’ll have,” said Miller. “I’m very excited about this opportunity to contribute to the excellent work being done at gen-E.”
gen-E Expands Sales, Product Marketing and EMEA Operations
Beyond the addition of Miller, gen-E has increased the size and scope of its global sales organization, with its pre-sales team growing by 250 percent and its worldwide channel sales organization growing by 150 percent – all in the past year. gen-E has also added to its product marketing team, and hired employees in areas such as support, marketing and sales to serve operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
As its global footprint expands, gen-E is also ramping up worldwide support efforts and has established a “follow the sun” model to ensure expeditious, round-the-clock response times for customers.
Best known for its market-leading Resolve Social ITPA software, gen-E received a private equity investment in March 2012 to further fuel its Worldwide Channel Partner Program across North America, Europe, Australia, South America and Southeast Asia. In Feb. 2012, the company changed its name to “gen-E” as part of a new worldwide branding effort to reflect its global software strategy focused on social IT process automation. The investment and the name change followed gen-E’s record year-over-year results in 2011, including a 100 percent growth in profits and 40 percent increase in revenue.
