“How Do You Do Focus Apps” is the question contestants will answer with their photo submissions for World Heart Day. The Photo Contest organized by Focus Apps will be held on Facebook until September 30, 2012. The winner will receive a free app featuring scientific animation of the heart entitled, Jr. Animated Atlas: Circulatory System.

Focus Apps announces a photo contest to draw attention to World Heart Day (September 29, 2012). Throughout September 2012, contestants are invited to upload photos that answer the question, “How Do You Do Focus Apps?” The public is invited to vote on photo submissions and the winner will be the photo that has received the most votes.

World Heart Day is an annual awareness day organized by the World Heart Foundation. The organization exists to lead the global fight against heart disease and stroke, focusing primarily on low and middle-income countries. The theme of this year’s World Heart Day is home heart health with a specific focus on the prevention of cardiovascular disease among women and children.

Focus Apps has produced over 180 health-related animated apps. Their animated apps are both informative and entertaining, sharing certified facts on some of today’s most common health conditions. Focus Apps animations can be viewed free on YouTube and downloaded free from iTunes. Full versions of apps are available as in-app purchase on iTunes.

The World Heart Day photo contest will take place on Facebook until September 30, 2012. Those wishing to participate are required to enter the contest via the Focus Apps Facebook page. The photo contest is open to participants worldwide excluding employees and affiliates of Focus Apps.
