We want to promote facts and reality-based dialogue.
Atherton, California (PRWEB) September 17, 2012
TruthMarket, a division of Truth Seal Corp., today announced that its founder launched a campaign disputing Sheriff Arpaio’s accusation that the “President's long-form birth certificate is undoubtedly a fraud.” The first person who can deliver verifiable proof of White House or State of Hawaii fraud can win the $5,000.
The campaign’s position is that Maricopa County, Arizona’s outspoken Sheriff Joe Arpaio seeks to discredit President Obama by perpetuating the misperception that the President is not a real American. Sheriff Arpaio’s office maintains there is evidence of document tampering and has issued a press release summarizing the findings of the Sheriff’s Cold Case Citizen's Posse that "President's long-form birth certificate is undoubtedly a fraud." The full text of his news release can be found on the website of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, here.
To win the $5,000 bounty, a campaign challenger must go beyond the speculative conclusions of the Sheriff’s Cold Case Posse and provide verifiable evidence that President Obama was born in another country or identify a credible person who admits to committing this illegal forgery or fraud.
Rick Hayes-Roth, founder of TruthMarket, created and sponsored this campaign to create an example of how TruthMarket works. “The honorable thing would be if somebody in the ‘birther’ movement presented the rest of America with some compelling evidence. And it would be great for the country too if they failed in the court of public opinion to ‘put up or shut up.’ We want to promote facts and reality-based dialogue. It’s worth $5,000 to kick-start this marketplace.”
