In her new book “The Curious Caves of Honey Cove” (published by iUniverse), Samantha McDermott takes readers on a vacation that shifts from light-hearted romance to a curious murder mystery investigation.

Nell Shepard is a hardworking junior executive working in the city who is finally taking a well-deserved vacation. Once she arrives at her vacation destination, she decides to take in the sights and sounds on a horseback ride to the cliffs. While resting, she falls asleep, awakening to a thick fog and missing horse.

She is soon rescued by the unbelievably handsome Ben, who knows as much about the caves as Nell knows about business. It’s impossible to resist his charms, and soon the seaside town and its strange residents grow on her. But as Nell soon learns, something is amiss, and the peaceful seaside town holds a dark secret and an unsolved murder case.

He hardly noticed her, which Nell thought was great because she thought she looked really hot. A woman doesn’t want her escort noticing other women who look hot even if they’re really her and he’s too young for her anyway and she isn’t interested in him that way at all She stopped I front of him and leered into his face.
