Fit Business Insider’s parent company Fitness Consulting Group will be hosting Fitness Business Weekend in Louisville, Kentucky from October 12th to the 13th. Registration is now available for personal trainers seeking attendance.
Bringing together several of the fitness industry’s top leaders to share tips on growing a personal trainer business, the event will feature fitness business coaching from Ryan Ketchum, Tyler English, Sean Carey, Mike Robertson, and more.
Fitness Consulting Group co-owners Pat Rigsby and Nick Berry will also be in attendance. Berry promises to discuss approaches and strategies to building a service culture, while Rigsby will share his 7 most powerful strategies to get a fitness business to the next level.
“Growing personal training businesses and increasing fitness profits are what we at FCG are all about,” Rigsby says. “We have a host of materials available to fitness business owners, from the FitBusinessInsider.com blog to these live events.”
Fitness Business Weekend, according to Rigsby and Berry, will offer hands-on instruction geared toward helping fitness businesses grow. Fitness marketing and personal training sales seem to be two of the biggest topics the event will stress to participants.
“Speaking from experience, personal trainers usually aren’t self-assured businessmen,” says Rigsby’s partner, Nick Berry. “That’s just because they haven’t been handed the right tools. We hope the presentations at the event will open them up to new ways of increasing fitness business revenues.”
The speakers hope that discussing their experiences can help other personal trainers with fitness marketing. “These experienced trainers have a lot to teach,” Rigsby explained.
“The primary goals of Fitness Business Weekend are to optimize all aspects of our clients’ personal training businesses,” Berry explains, “as well as to help them build a unique fitness brand within their markets.”
Indeed, fitness branding, as Rigsby and Berry describe it, is crucial to establishing a business presence in one’s particular market.
“I always talk about finding a fitness niche,” Rigsby says. “If you can establish yourself as distinct from other gyms and trainers in your area, you’re going to take the lid off of what your fitness business can achieve.”
Fitness Business Weekend will take place in just four weeks, on Friday, October 12th and Saturday October 13th. Registration is now open to interested personal trainers.
