Matrix Solutions Rolls out Next Generation of their Matrix CRM and Sales Management Software System

The new release entails the addition of numerous new features and functionality; the most significant being the budget module that can be leveraged across the entire organization for annual revenue planning purposes.

Matrix Solutions, the leading provider of CRM and Sales Management Software to the media industry, announced today that the next generation of their CRM and Sales Management Software System was made available September 15th. Their entire customer base, which entails a total of 285 stations and over 3700 users, has been automatically upgraded to the new release. Matrix is a web-based and hosted solution so the actual upgrade is transparent on the back end.

The new release entails the addition of numerous new features and functionality; the most significant being the budget module that can be leveraged across the entire organization for annual revenue planning purposes. Because budget plans can vary in how they are compiled at the market level, Matrix has provided the ability to create different templates across the company that will bring together accurate and valuable information at any level. The budget plans can be built “bottom-up” by account if needed, and then rolled-up for the individual outlet, and ultimately to the corporate level.

Matrix Solutions has continually developed and updated their product since its launch in November 2011, additional features that have been added include:

  •     Quick Deals
  •     Leads and prospect approval process
  •     Calendar subscriptions within Outlook and Gmail
  •     LinkedIn integration

The Quick Deals functionality alone has improved the users’ ability to enter and update deals in half the time and the LinkedIn integration immediately shows users “who” in their prospect and account lists they have a connection with. The goal is always to make the product quick and easy to use for Salespeople while providing information that can help them close more business faster.
