The Inn at Great Neck Hotel has created several holiday hotel packages for travelers looking to experience all of the splendor that New York City has to offer during the festive holiday season. The Inn at Great Neck is conveniently located near the Long Island Rail Road, which can bring guests into New York's Pennsylvania Station, which is in the heart of Manhattan. The Great Neck Train Station is less than two blocks from the Hotel, and the train ride from Great Neck into the City takes less than a half hour.
Staying on Long Island gives many the opportunity to save a lot of money on hotel accommodations, as hotels in the City typically have higher rates during the holiday season. The Inn at Great Neck is offering several packages starting at $229.00 (plus applicable taxes), which includes breakfast, parking and even train tickets, with everything arranged by the Hotel at the time reservations are made.
The Inn's current packages include a New York City Holiday Lights Package, which is available November 26th - December 30th 2012 and a New York City Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Package. Both packages are great for families and couples seeking to enjoy the holiday spectacular that can only be found in New York City.
The Hotel will also be creating an exclusive Thanksgiving Day package, which will include a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner buffet. The Inn will also be creating a New Year's Eve package for those looking to celebrate and ring in the new year in style.
When the Hotel's Reservation Manager, Briana Keller was asked about the Inn at Great Neck's packages and how and and why she developed them, she replied, "We just want to give guests the opportunity to experience a New York holiday season and give them some alternatives to staying in New York City, as it can be very expensive to do so. November and December are typically shoulder months for us; however, that seems to be changing as people realize that staying just outside of New York City can be more affordable and just as fun as they explore some of the things Long Island has to offer as well.
