From the owner Michael Dodd (University of Texas class of ‘07); “We are so excited to have the opportunity to open this new venue. Our goal is to create a fun, unique, and memorable experience for every person that walks through our door.”

Game Plan Entertainment is set to open a new private arcade and events facility on October 12th, 2012 in Austin, Texas. It will be located at 4175 Freidrich Lane, Austin, TX 78744 near the southeast corner of I35 and Ben White Blvd. The venue will include approximately 5000 square feet of event space filled with 20+ classic arcade games, pinball, foosball, skee-ball, ping pong, air hockey, video game console setups with HDTVs, and more. All coin-operated games will be set to free play. It will be available to rent for private functions including birthday parties, corporate events, youth groups, and other occasions.

The facility will be available for birthday parties and small events early in the day, while the evenings will be reserved for larger private events. Birthday packages will start at $299 for a 2 hour party with up to 15 guests, and the evening events will start at $1000 for a 5 hour exclusive rental block. Customers will have the option of customizing the space in order to accommodate their specific needs.

Some of the popular classic arcade games onsite include Donkey Kong, Galaga, Pac Man, Tron, Asteroids Deluxe, NBA Jam, The Simpsons and many more. In addition, there will be 10+ video game stations set up throughout the facility with consoles ranging from the Atari 2600 to the latest offerings from Xbox 360, Wii and Playstation 3. Newer consoles will be networked together with online play available.

For the past two and half years, the company has been offering a variety of arcade games and amusement items for offsite events throughout Texas. Clients have ranged from small birthday parties to large-scale corporate events for Fortune 500 companies.
