Mark A. Stansberry, Oklahoma author and energy leader, spoke today in Couere D’Alene, Idaho at the national conference of the Council of State Chambers. The Council of State Chambers is comprised of State Chamber CEOs and Presidents from across the United States.

His topic was based on his book “America Needs America’s Energy: Creating Together the People’s Energy Plan”.

Stansberry stated “For too long, we in America have been wasting time blaming the energy industry or the government for failure to adopt a national energy strategy when we should be responsible for creating the plan. As consumers of energy, we must drive the process evaluating how we can best leverage our natural resources here at home to ensure long-term energy independence and security….we need an energy revolution in this country right now, and we must be the leaders”.

Mark A. Stansberry is chairman of The GTD Group and served as president of The Energy Advocates from 2003-2009.
