Test Equipment Connection announces release of new Graphtec GL7000 Modular Data Acquisition Unit, available beginning October 1, 2012.

The Graphtec GL700 will be Available beginning October 1, 2012 through Test Equipment Connection. The Graphtec GL7000,the next generation Data Acquisition Unit, measures the selected signal on demand with the selected number of channels and time interval. It allows for expansion of measurements and channels. It is suitable for a variety of measurements by different types of amplifiers and multiple storage for reliable long term measurement. Easy operation with large display and touch panel. Supports stand-alone operation and embedding into a system. Uses High performance application software.

Other features:
A wide variety of measurements can be supported by the amplifier module. Measurements for different applications can be added to the amplifier module. It is also possible to mix measurements by adding different types of modules.

The Voltage module, Voltage/Temperature module, High Speed Voltage module and Logic/Pulse models are available. The other modules will be released sequentially starting in the autumn of 2012.
Up to 10 amplifier modules can be attached for multi-channel measurements, with up to 112 channels on one GL7000.

Voltage and Volt/Temp amplifier can maintain high-speed and multi-channel measurements without dropping the sampling speed, even if the number of modules are increased.
Up to 10 units of the GL7000 can be connected to one PC through LAN or USB and controlled using the software.

The start/stop trigger, and sampling can be synchronized in the GL7000 when they are connected by a sync cable. The master and slave units are automatically identified.
