EVENT DETAILS: The 2012 Salsa Community Conference welcomes speakers and experts in organizing and technology to train and educate attendees on the latest practices and strategies for building and engaging a massive base of support. Two days of sessions include partner presentations, roundtable discussions and hands-on training. Conference goers will also have the opportunity to get one-on-one technical advice from Salsa service staff and strategize on how to improve online efforts with Curbside Consulting.

The event kicks of with a panel of keynote speakers featuring Greg Cendana, executive director of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), AFL- CIO; Sarita Gupta, co-director for Caring Across Generations; Erin Hoftieg, digital manager at American Federation of Teachers; Sabrina Hersi Issa, founder of Be Bold Media; Chris Lundberg, and CEO and co-founder of Salsa. Additional featured speakers include organizer and author John Hlinko, and representatives from organizations such as Care2, Change.org, Charity Dynamics, Epolitics.com, PayPal, and Revolution Messaging.
