International Corporate Law Firm Selected for Recognition in Three Practice Areas

We are heartened to see this kind of response from the in-house lawyers we serve on a daily basis.

Haynes and Boone, LLP has received high marks for its litigation work on behalf of clients in the BTI Consulting Group’s BTI Litigation Outlook 2013: Changes, Trends and Opportunities for Law Firms.

The firm was selected for recognition in three different areas -- securities or finance related litigation, complex commercial litigation and IP litigation. The national survey of more than 350 senior in-house attorneys asked, “Which firm do you consider to be best suited to helping you” with various legal services.

“We are heartened to see this kind of response from the in-house lawyers we serve on a daily basis,” said Terry Conner, managing partner. “Litigation has always been one of our key offerings at Haynes and Boone, and I think our clients have come to appreciate that we have their back whenever a trip to the courthouse is necessary.”

The BTI Litigation Outlook 2013 reports that corporate counsel are seeking opportunities to transform the legal department from a soaring cost center to a strategic asset, reducing risk and containing costs.

According to BTI, corporate counsels are increasingly dedicated to disposing of litigation as quickly and effectively as possible. The drive to resolve business disputes is producing in the way they use early case assessment, technology tools, litigation management, alternative fees and law firms themselves.
