Life is short, if you have an idea of something you want to accomplish, go for it!

Lizton, IN (PRWEB) September 19, 2012

“After retiring at the age of 70 from a career I truly loved, I began to wonder what else I might accomplish in my life,” says author Madalene K. (Wing) Price. “Upon thinking of my grandchildren and the three great-grandchildren that are all arriving in 2012, I decided I would write our family story.” With this in mind, Price pens her new collection of memoirs, “One Last Thing: The Home That Built Us” (published by AuthorHouse).

Price learned early in life to give respect, honesty and kindness to others, through the strict rules of her parents. She grew up in the rural way of life during a simpler time when life was rugged and material things were few and far between.

She married young, but with perseverance and ingenuity Price and her husband found ways to provide for their children and stay loyal to the rural lifestyle of farming. She describes the process of writing “One Last Thing” as a journey through the seasons of her life in all of its ups and downs, happiness and sorrows.

“Life is short, if you have an idea of something you want to accomplish, go for it!” Price writes. “Step back and see in spite of it all, how much you are truly blessed. This story is about good times, hard times, in-laws, happy times, raising children, moving to another place and deciding where you came from is better after all.”
