More than two months after allowing its customers to rate its performance on the review website Trustpilot, Derby-based packaging supplies company Davpack is proud to be running at an officially ‘Excellent’ 9.5 marks out of 10.

With over 200 reviews of the Company’s service now registered on the site – more than 180 of which have awarded the maximum five stars – Davpack is delighted that its belief that the highest levels of Customer service should always reside at the core of any successful business is being reflected by the way its own Customers have viewed its performance.

Managing Director Barney Byfield acknowledged that opening the Company to such a public appraisal always carried a risk, but claimed that everyone working there had entered the process with cautious levels of optimism. “We’ve tried various ways of measuring our performance in the past and we’re regularly talking to our Customers, most of whom keep coming back to us for their cardboard boxes and polythene bags! We’ve also been scoring very highly on Amazon, with an average 4.8 out of 5 stars from over 350 reviews over the last 12 months. So we knew we were doing something right!

“Nevertheless, everyone at Davpack has been touched by the positive feedback we’ve received and it’s given the team a real boost to have our own feelings that we were on the right track vindicated by the things being said about us. We’ve even put up a screen in the warehouse so that the team there can keep an eye on the latest comments about their work.”

Not that anyone at Davpack is going to become complacent. “This isn’t just a way of letting the world know that we’re pretty good at what we do”, Barney continued. “It’s become an essential part of our quality management system, and the occasional criticism we do receive means we always need to keep a close eye on our working practices and procedures. Company improvement is an ongoing process and none of us will be 100% satisfied with our performance until we reach the magic 10 out of 10 rating!”
