The pH-Rugged Electrode is designed for use with the MadgeTech pHTemp101 and pHTemp2000 data loggers. A cable assembly is required, and is available with or without an RTD probe, which provides automatic temperature compensation. The pH-Rugged ATC Cable mounting assembly connects directly to the pH-Rugged Electrode and has a built in RTD probe, providing automatic temperature compensation (ATC). The pH-Rugged Probe cable assembly connects to the pH-Rugged Electrode and can be used with an external RTD probe or may be used with one of the resistor kits included with the MadgeTech pH data loggers. Automatic Temperature Compensation is preferred, as it provides the best accuracy. When the precision and accuracy of automatic temperature compensation is not necessary, the resistor kit included with MadgeTech pH data loggers may be used to simulate the temperature of the application and to minimize error.
pH data can be analyzed using MadgeTech’s data logger software, a free download from http://www.madgetech.com. The software features export to Excel®, statistics calculations, data annotation, and digital calibration. The pH-Rugged Electrode is priced at $158.
