Walleye Granted Patent for Advanced Millimeter Wave Camera for Industrial and Homeland Security Applications

Walleye Technologies today announced the issuance of a new US patent 8,253,619 (Electromagnetic Scanning Imager) for its next-generation millimeter wave camera. The camera is a fully portable hand-held device capable of creating images through solid objects. The images are presented on an LCD screen and can be readily displayed, stored, analyzed, and transmitted. The new patent covers technology that enables the camera to locate and track objects through solid materials, such as walls or packaging.
