“TestArchitect’s integration with Visual Studio 2012 provides keyword-driven automation that is fast to create, scalable and maintainable"

LogiGear, a world leader in collaborative software test automation solutions, announces the release of TestArchitect™ for Visual Studio®. Tightly integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio 2012, LogiGear’s TestArchitect for Visual Studio is a modern module-based, keyword-driven authoring extension that reduces the time needed to create, maintain, and execute large-scale coded UI test automation. Through the use of action keywords, tests can be created without coding. By using TestArchitect development teams can increase test coverage, decrease testing time, and rapidly release software with confidence.

“We are pleased to be part of the Visual Studio eco-system and provide the Visual Studio community with a testing solution specifically designed to enable rapid test automation in a large scale for modern software,” commented Hung Nguyen, CEO of LogiGear. “Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 allows developers to create software that is dynamic and optimized to connect with the multi-device world. TestArchitect for Visual Studio adds to that capability by providing keyword based test automation that simplifies coded UI testing to increase test coverage and also keep up with rapid release cycles.”

TestArchitect for Visual Studio takes full advantage of the capabilities within Visual Studio 2012 and seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and Microsoft Team Foundation server (TFS) to define testing based on the same team projects that other areas of the organization uses.

“TestArchitect's integration with Visual Studio 2012 provides keyword-driven automation that is fast to create, scalable and maintainable to enable faster deployment of modern, high-quality software,” said Tom Lindeman, Director of the Visual Studio Industry Partner program at Microsoft, Inc. “Given Microsoft’s focus on all members of the application lifecycle management (ALM) team adding value to the build, we’re tremendously excited to have LogiGear, with its expertise in easy-to-use, automated and scalable testing, as a VSIP member.”
