Intertech, Minnesota’s leading software development consulting and training company, has been awarded a major two-year state contract, the largest single contract win in the company’s 20-year history.
Intertech will partner with Virginia-based Computer Science Corporation (CSC) on the multi-million dollar project on behalf of the Minnesota State Retirement System (MSRS). Intertech’s work – valued at $4.5 million – will encompass a multi-year Batch Systems Renovation Project, which consists of renovating MSRS’ existing mainframe based batch processes to a more current and flexible technology platform (Java) and streamlining identified critical processes to improve overall efficiency and productivity. Anticipated completion date is December 2014.
“This is a significant win for our firm,” said Intertech Partner Ryan McCabe. “We have a solid track record with the State of Minnesota and are honored to be able to provide our Java expertise for this major initiative. We also look forward to partnering with CSC, which manages some of the largest applications and most complex IT contracts ever awarded around the world.”
