Colleges have always stretched students intellectually and financially. But at least there was assurance that in the end there would be opportunities waiting after graduation.

Motivational college speaker Scott Greenberg has recently begun a tour of U.S. colleges and universities to encourage students facing today’s challenging job market. His message to college students came in response to school administrators looking to find ways to inspire their incoming freshmen class, while preparing their college seniors for an ever-changing labor market. Greenberg’s material and inspiration have come from stories like one found earlier this year in USA Today that said half of 2012 college graduates are unemployed or underemployed in low-paying jobs that don't fully use their abilities. Greenberg’s presentationsfocus on resiliency and leadership during difficult times with his most requested program being, “Survival of the Finest: Thriving During Times of Change and Adversity.”

Motivational College Speaker Scott Greenberg, a 19 year speaking veteran that specializes in helping groups endure change and adversity, has seen a recent increase in requests from college administrators across the country to speak at their schools. Many of these administrators have similar needs for a program that will inspire and motivate their incoming freshmen students as well as provide encouragement to job-seeking seniors facing a weak labor market. The tone and content of Greenberg’s motivational messages were designed to help college students remain hopeful about the future and their career path.

"Colleges have always stretched students intellectually and financially. But at least there was assurance that in the end there would be opportunities waiting after graduation,” says Motivational Speaker Scott Greenberg. “Nowadays the investment in college in no way guarantees a payoff and is often times a disappointment that many of these young adults were not prepared for.”

Some of the motivational speaker’s higher education clients include Georgetown University, Boston University, Penn State, College of New Jersey, Cal State Fullerton and Western Carolina University. In the coming month he will be at Valencia College in Orlando and the University of California, Merced. On September 24th, Greenberg will be speaking for the third year in a row at his alma mater, UCLA, alongside University Chancellor Gene Block in front of 6000 incoming freshmen.
