Two women were arrested in Milwaukee after a man told police that they bound and stabbed him during a satanic sex ritual in November 2011. News of this kind hints at the existence of occult crimes in modern society. In his new novel, SATANIC INFLUENCES, H. Berkeley Rourke explores this intriguing and terrifying phenomenon through the lives of characters who become irrevocably embroiled in a web of demonic forces, murder and skewed religious beliefs.

According to the author, a story was instilled in his mind after the investigation of another satanic murder committed in Mesa, Arizona in the 1990s. Ultimately he brings to light a horrifying reality and the existence of “beasts” living amongst people and the influence they invariably wield.

In the novel, Rourke has readers following the trail of blood and bodies left by a rogue group of Satanists. The murders committed will ensue in a multistate chase from Phoenix to Tennessee and back. It also uncovers the attempted assassination of police officers, a group of purveyors who sell children throughout the country and the intrigue surrounding their business.

Swift, haunting and out of the ordinary, SATANIC INFLUENCES is Rourke’s tour de force that will send readers deep into the fractured hearts and minds of people caught between the schemes of powers that go beyond the earthly realm.
