If WWIII had broken out and a nuclear missile is two minutes away from detonation, would money, possessions and status be meaningful and treasured?

While the majority of the people in this world are busying themselves with catching up on the latest reality TV shows, following the gossips of the most popular celebrity stars, storing up riches and luxuries for the anticipated years to come, it begs the question about how many people are aware of the fact that the world is on the brink of a global thermonuclear war that could be the next WWIII?
As we see the rising tensions in the Middle East with the Western World, Iran repeatedly threatening to wipe Israel off the map, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continuously warning of a pre-emptive strike on Iran before they complete their nuclear program, Russia declaring a stand in opposition to those who come against Iran as well as different nations positioning their military assets converging on the Strait of Hormuz, all of these events are dots that must be connected together to form a conclusion about the danger that the world is in today.
To those who believe in God and the bible, these things will not be a surprise to them because Jesus had warned about these things in the book of Matthew chapter 24, verse 6 to 7: "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom."
Considering the events unfolding in our world today, it would be wise to consider these words of wisdom from the son of the living God, Jesus Christ:
"But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:34-36
A thought provoking question is this.
If WWIII had broken out and a nuclear missile is two minutes away from detonation, would money, possessions, fame and status be meaningful and treasured?
What should a person do with two remaining minutes in his life?
Is there no hope? Or is there a rescue?
http://KingdomWarriors.com/ believes that surely there is hope and rescue for anyone who calls upon the name of Jesus Christ.
There is nothing more important in this life than one's eternal destination and salvation.
