Ziegler, a specialty investment bank, held it’s 15th Annual Senior Living Finance + Strategy Conference (SLF+S) this past week at the award winning Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Ziegler welcomed over 500 providers and industry professionals who traveled from as far as California and Washington State to attend the three-day event.
The SLF +S conference attracts the best and brightest presenters in the industry with relevant market environment session topics ranging from Finance 101 to Mergers & Acquisitions. Among the sessions on the three-day agenda was a group of “hot topic” roundtable discussions that included technology, healthcare reform, and aging facilities. Various panel discussions included professionals in marketing and architecture, to name just a few. In addition to attending the conference sessions and networking events, attendees were able to participate in various activities including golf, hiking, falconry, and a tour of The Greenbrier’s hidden bunker.
Dan Hermann, Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Ziegler, commented, “Our annual goal for this conference is to provide outstanding senior living content, plenty of opportunities for networking and, finally, fun and relaxation. This year’s conference was no exception. A packed agenda with in-depth, market-relevant content provided our attendees a deeper understanding of the conditions around us.
