Program will offer a regulatory update and implementable tactics to enhance design and mitigate safety concerns related to implantable devices

Jonathan Severino, Manager of QE/QC Process Control at B. Braun Medical Inc., will give a presentation on Full-Scope Risk Management for Implantable Devices at the MEDevice Forum, September 19, at the San Diego Convention Center, from 10:50 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

As part of the “Design of Implantable Devices” product conference, Severino will offer a requirements update and tactics to enhance design and mitigate safety concerns regarding implantable devices. Topics addressed during the session will include:

  • Risk management for implantable devices: the risk management lifecycle
  • Integrating risk management into quality systems and design controls
  • International quality standard ISO 14971
