Oilfield Instrumentation (OI), which provides real-time drilling instrumentation, gas detection, and hazardous environment labs, announced the appointment of John Woolslayer to Business Development in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Weatherford, as well as the Midland-Odessa areas of Texas, effective immediately.
Woolslayer is responsible for developing Oilfield Instrumentation’s customer base in the region for drilling instrumentation, gas detection, and custom well-site accommodations, such as company man and safety buildings.
During Woolslayer’s more than 20 years of experience in oilfield sales and management, he has developed a trusted reputation in the industry, having serviced both drilling contractors and operators. With tenures at such companies as Premier Oilfield Services, WCI Engineering, and Oil & Gas Rental Services before its purchase by Allis-Chalmers Energy, Inc. Woolslayer has provided customers with everything from derricks to rental equipment. His expertise has been instrumental in helping offshore service companies transition to land-based operations in areas ranging from north Louisiana to the Bakken in North Dakota.
