Steve Sabol, the president of NFL films, has passed away. He died on Tuesday in Moorestown, N.J due to brain cancer as reported by latimes.com. According to the said report, Sabol learned about his brain tumor in March 2011. A separate report from nfl.com shared that it could not be removed. So, for 18 months, he battled with brain cancer but lost to it at the age of 69.

Succeeding his father, the report shared that Steve Sabol became the president of NFL Films in 1985. It was said that he revolutionized sports films with his genius use of music and his slow-motion and montage editing techniques.
