...the 2012 conference seeks to understand these drivers: workforce knowledge transfer, social and virtual media, and collaboration.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) September 20, 2012
The Human Capital Institute (HCI) will return to the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City on November 7-9 for its 2012 HCI Learning & Leadership Development Conference. HCI, the global association for strategic talent management, has built this year’s event around new paradigms in the world of leadership and people management, and has assembled a group of talented thought leaders to discuss how best to approach and utilize them.
In light of the emergence of a new model of leadership, one that includes the ability to share knowledge, power, credit, and risk with collaborators, the 2012 conference seeks to understand these drivers: workforce knowledge transfer, social and virtual media, and collaboration. Understanding how to harness these tools to maximize innovation as well as the bottom line will be the key to effective leadership in tomorrow’s workplace. Further insight will be provided by HCI’s panel of speakers, including: John Reid-Dodick, Chief People Officer at AOL; Bob Bennett, VP HR and CLO of Global Organizations and Learning Development and Services at FedEx Express; Liza Taylor, Director of Talent Development at Hulu; Kami Ruffine Bond, Director, Leadership Development at GE Healthcare; Melissa Daimler, Head of Organizational Effectiveness & Learning at Twitter; Andrea Procaccino, Global Head of Learning & Development for Avon Products, Inc.; Dan Zimmerman, Senior Director of Human Resources at ESPN Inc.; Brigadier General (ret.) Thomas Kolditz, Author and Senior Lecturer at Yale University; and Heather Boatman, VP of Organizational and Learning Development at Burlington Coat Factory.
HCI has received support from leading organizations to help bring this event to life, including Diamond Underwriters AMA Enterprise, Corporate University Xchange, DDI, Korn/Ferry International, The NeuroLeadership Group, Oracle, SuccessFactors, TalentLens, and Vistage; Platinum Underwriters AchieveGlobal, the Center for Creative Leadership, the IE Business School, Lee Hecht Harrison, Project Management Leadership Group, Inc., and Right Management; Gold Underwriters Bluepoint Leadership Development, the Coach Training Alliance, EBSCO Publishing, Enspire Learning, Fierce, Inc., GoAnimate, Interaction Associates, International Coach Federation, Maestro, MasteryWorks, Peoplesmith Global, Inc., TELL ME MORE, The Leadership Challenge and Thunderbird Online.
