Brian E. Cohen and Elizabeth C. Wolicki have joined Novack and Macey LLP as Litigation Associates. The Chicago-based firm specializes in high-stakes business and commercial litigation.

Mr. Cohen graduated cum laude in 2010 from Northwestern University Law School where he served as Note and Comment Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. Mr. Cohen also completed a judicial externship with Illinois Northern District Judge Wayne Andersen and served as a law clerk in the Illinois Attorney General’s Civil Appeals Division. He was a general litigation associate with Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP in Chicago before joining Novack and Macey.

Mr. Cohen holds a master’s degree in American History from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in American History from Northwestern University. He was previously a high school teacher at Highland Park High School and Ida Crown Jewish Academy. Mr. Cohen grew up in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He now resides in Evanston with his wife Lindsay and two sons.

Ms. Wolicki graduated in 2008 from The University of Chicago Law School. She holds a degree in History from Princeton University.

Ms. Wolicki was previously a litigation associate at Mayer Brown LLP. While in law school, she spent a summer as a judicial extern to the Honorable Matthew Kennelly of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Ms. Wolicki is a Chicago native. Before attending law school, she spent a year serving as a literacy tutor with AmeriCorps in the Chicago Public Schools. Ms. Wolicki resides in Chicago with her husband and son.
